Pennsylvania Lottery ticket hits $800,000 jackpot

BURGETTSTOWN, Pa. — It was a very happy Fourth of July for someone who bought a lottery ticket at a Washington County grocery store and won $800,000.

Pennsylvania Lottery officials said a winning ticket from the Monday Cash 5 drawing was sold at Petrucci’s IGA on Main Street in Burgettstown.

The ticket matched all five balls drawn — 1, 6, 8, 11 and 41.

The winner’s name is not known yet.

The ticket-holder has one year to come forward and claim the prize.

The store will get a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
